Hills, wildlife, backwaters, and heritage — the route that fits everything first-timers want without a single rushed day.
Six days is the balanced Kerala trip: it takes the classic 5-day Munnar-Alleppey shape and adds Thekkady — Periyar's wildlife lake and spice country — which turns a highlights tour into the full circuit.
The route moves in one clean arc with no backtracking: up to the tea hills, along the mountain ridge to Thekkady, then down to the backwaters, ending in Kochi. Each leg is 3-5 hours by private cab, always by daylight.
Families pick this length most often — the pace suits children and grandparents, and Thekkady's plantation walks and boat rides are the days kids remember. Every package below follows this rhythm and can be customized stop by stop.
A proven 5N/6D rhythm — customize any day.
Pickup at Kochi airport or station, waterfall stops on the climb, evening free in the tea hills. Overnight Munnar.
Tea Museum, Eravikulam National Park (season permitting), Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, and photo stops across the estates. Overnight Munnar.

Backwater sunrise and houseboat breakfast, short drive to Kochi, Fort Kochi heritage walk and sunset at the Chinese fishing nets. Overnight Kochi.

General
General The full classic circuit: two nights in Munnar, one in Thekkady, one on an Alleppey houseboat, and a final night in Kochi. Hills, wildlife, backwaters, and heritage in one loop with no backtracking.
It is the family favourite — one relaxed drive per day, plantation walks and boat rides in Thekkady, and the houseboat night that children love. We also plan vegetarian-friendly and senior-paced versions.
The single addition is Thekkady — Periyar wildlife, spice plantations, and cultural shows. It converts the trip from "Munnar plus houseboat" into the complete Kerala circuit.
October to March offers the most reliable weather across hills and backwaters. The monsoon months are greener and quieter — beautiful for the same route if you don't mind rain intervals.
