Six to seven days is comfortable for a Shimla-Kullu-Manali circuit, with a couple of nights in each hill town. Adding Dharamshala or Dalhousie makes it eight to nine days. We pace it to your travel style.
March to June is the classic season for a cool summer escape, and October to November is clear and crisp. For snow in Solang Valley, plan December to February. The monsoon (July to September) can bring landslides on hill roads.
Solang Valley usually has snow from around December to February for snow play. Rohtang Pass is seasonal and opens roughly May to October, while the Atal Tunnel gives year-round access toward Lahaul. We confirm current conditions when you plan.
